Vanity page

A vanity page is a useless page about a person or other entity which is of little interest to the BBS community.
An example of something that is a vanity page might include Bob Smith, a (fictional) newbie who just showed up and wrote a page about himself. If he's done nothing noteworthy in the BBS community, this page is a waste of space in BBSWiki and will be deleted. He should use his user page instead -- see Help:Contents for details.
An example of something that is not a vanity page might include John Smith, a (fictional) user who ran a BBS, committed murder and then posted about it on a BBS, and so on.
