QuickX

QuickX allows the user to hit a numeric key at the short or read prompts and instantly begin an eXpress message to the given user. See Conspire Requirements Specification/eXpress messages.

Note that hitting return on the slot prompt brings up a delete prompt:

<Q>uickX  <E>nable  <O>ptions  <L>og -> QuickX

  Key  User
   0   Slit
   1   Gnostalgia
   2   Khelair
   3    (empty)
   4   Love And Flowers
   5   L Dopa
   6    (empty)
   7   Artemis Calliste
   8   Akrasia
   9   Stellaluna

<0-9> Assign QuickX -> 2

QuickX slot #2 (Khelair) ->
Delete Khelair from slot #2? (Y/N) -> No

Enable

The enable list shares a common interface with the ignore list interfaces. The enable list is a list of users who can send Xes even when the receiver who is using this menu is X-disabled. For the equivalent of the old disable list, see Conspire Requirements Specification/Config menu/Ignore list.

<Q>uickX  <E>nable  <O>ptions  <L>og -> Enable

Users who can always send you eXpress messages:

Neurophyre              Pele                    War Boy
Zero Cool

Options

<Q>uickX  <E>nable  <O>ptions  <L>og -> Options

Have eXpress messages turned OFF when you first enter the BBS? -> (No) No
Have eXpress messages arrive immediately while posting? -> (No) No
Clear your eXpress log every time you log out? -> (No) No

Log

Allows the user to clear their eXpress log.

<Q>uickX  <E>nable  <O>ptions  <L>og -> Log

Note that clearing your log may not clear Xes from the database if they are
still in the other user's log. However, you will no longer be able to access
cleared Xes.

Clear your eXpress log now? -> (No)

Note that a user selecting to clear their express log doesn't necessarily actually delete the Xes from the database. Xes are only deleted if they lose all reference -- that is, if they are deleted from BOTH users' X logs. This is handled in an ownership table.
