This primitive options menu sets toggles and values for system options.

Mandatory account information (e-mail is always mandatory):

Name -> (Yes)
Street -> (No)
City -> (No)
State/Country -> (No)
ZIP/mail code -> (No)
Phone -> (No)

Auto validate new users upon verification of e-mail? -> (No)
Allow users to set their own vanity flags? -> (Yes)
Set default read mode for new users to threaded mode? -> (Yes)
Set flagged posts from roomaides/sysops as unignorable? -> (Yes)
Disable post ignoring by roomaides in their own rooms? -> (Yes)
Truncate hostnames in profiles/wholist for privacy? -> (Yes)
Display geographic data in wholist instead of hostname? -> (No)
Enter a password to lock new account creation (blank unlocks) -> (password)
Enter max old messages to store in X log, 0 disables persistence (64K max) -> (1000)
Enter max messages to store per room (100 min, 64K max) -> (65536)
Mark all but latest # messages read on new jump? (1 min) -> (50)

The absolute maximum persistent (from prior sessions) X messages stored by the server is 64K per user. The absolute maximum messages per room is 64K. The absolute minimum is 100.
