The ignore list management tool allows users to add or remove people from their ignore list and display it. It also sets their options.

Ignore config ->

BBS ignore list

Presents the user's BBS-wide ignore list in standard three-column alphabetical format.

Ignore config -> BBS ignore list

Users ignored everywhere:

Zero Cool

Room ignore list

Presents the user's room ignore list in two column user-room format with multiple rooms handled as follows:

Ignore config -> Room ignore list

Users ignored by room:

Fleep                in Bibliothek>
Ivor                 in PCs And Winders>
Snookles             in SiteSeeing>
                        That Doesn't Make You Jesus>

eXpress ignore list

Presents the user's eXpress ignore list in standard three-column alphabetical format.

Ignore config -> eXpress ignore list

Ignoring eXpress messages from:

Neurophyre              Pele                    War Boy
Zero Cool

Ignore user

Adds a user to the current user's BBS, room or X ignore list.

Ignore config -> Ignore user

A series of prompts determines how to add the user to the list. Adding a user to the BBS-wide ignore list clears any individual room ignores they had. It also adds the ignored user to the X ignore list if the option is set below.

User to ignore? -> Ivor
Ignore in one <r>oom, in e<x>press msgs, or the entire <B>BS? -> BBS
Ignoring Ivor everywhere.

User to ignore? -> Ivor
Ignore in one <r>oom, in e<x>press msgs, or the entire <B>BS? -> eXpress
Ignoring Ivor in eXpress messages.

The user must enter a valid room name or number if they wish to ignore by room.

User to ignore? -> Ivor
Ignore in one <r>oom, in e<x>press msgs, or the entire <B>BS? -> Room
Enter a room to ignore Ivor -> Babb
Ignoring Ivor in Babble I SAID OUAH.
Are you sure? (Y/N) -> Yes

The user can hit a blank enter at any prompt to be dropped back to the ignore config prompt.

Unignore user

Searches the current user's ignore list for entries and selectively unignores them. Hitting enter at any prompt returns the user to the ignore config prompt or advances to the next confirmation question.

To unignore a user ignored on the entire BBS:

Ignore config -> Unignore user
User to unignore? -> Snookles

Snookles is ignored everywhere.
Stop ignoring Snookles? (Y/N) ->

Snookles is ignored in eXpress messages.
Stop ignoring Snookles in eXpress messages? (Y/N) ->

To unignore a user ignored in specific rooms:

Ignore config -> Unignore user

User to unignore? -> Snookles

Snookles is ignored in specific rooms:

Display a message when a post or thread is killed? -> (Yes)
Ignore entire threads or subthreads started by ignored users? -> (No)
Ignore messages in rooms for which you are a roomaide? -> (No)
Ignore mail from ignored users? -> (Yes)
Add users ignored everywhere to eXpress ignore list? -> (Yes)
